Last season saw GBmoto Racing take a huge step forward and cement ourselves as genuine title contenders, achieving 13 podiums in our debut season as an officially supported Kawasaki team in the prestigious MCE British Superbike Championship.
2015 looks to be even bigger as we welcome new title sponsors JG Speedfit to the fold. We have retained the services of James Ellison, who showed at the final round in 2014 he can challenge for wins and we have signed another genuine Showdown contender in the form of James Westmoreland.
With last season being our first with the formidable Kawasaki ZX-10R machine, we arrived at each circuit with no settings, meaning each weekend we would start from scratch. Despite that, the team showed their mettle and come race day we were challenging for podiums. With a year’s worth of knowledge, along with further improvements over the winter, I truly believe that in 2015 GBmoto will not only be challenging for podiums but the title too.
2015 will also mark an incredibly exciting new chapter in the GBmoto Racing history as we go ‘between the hedges’ and embark on our first season of International Road Racing. Enjoying support direct from the Kawasaki factory in Japan, we have signed Gary Johnson to compete in the Superbike and Superstock classes at the North West 200, Isle of Man TT and Ulster Grand Prix.
We love to hear from our fans, so if you have a question for GBmoto Racing then feel free to get in touch with us HERE otherwise I hope to see many of you as possible at a race meeting soon!
